About the work
'The pictures were taken in an underground circular tunnel of Beijing, where people pass without stopping, and the wall is constantly repainted by the government to cover the advertisements and graffitis, the place remained an in-between space.
I took pictures of passersby with flash and then printed and pasted them on the wall of the tunnel. most pictures were ripped out and scratched by the security guard the next day, only the strips of pictures left. however, passersby stopped and looked at the remain of pictures, which become reflections of themselves. therefore created a looping interaction between reality and image, the dweller and the city.'
