  • About the work

Typical for Marta Djourina's work are unique camera-less works, blind drawings with light and painterly direct exposures combined with self-made film negatives. Her tools are photographic paper and various light sources. As part of the final exhibition at the UdK, Djourina showed large-format works in which painted and drawn gestures are juxtaposed with direct exposures created in the complete darkness of the photo laboratory.
