About the work
I create dark paper on the wall, which absorbs the light, thus focusing on the negativity of the “X” which is made by tape. Physical tube sculptures exist in the space in front of the wall, but they don’t show up in the photo, except some ghost ‘s shadows. I adjust the positions back and forth, to explore and discover the exactness. The camera records all the past and present, the two-dimensional and three-dimensional objects. The juxtaposition merges physical reality with invisible memories.
It’s not fictional but a compilation of physical and metaphysical. It express that natural world is repetitive and full of mysterious.
